A graduate of Bethel College of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Deven has degrees in social work and political science. After practicing as a licensed social worker, Deven worked in government and politics as a Congressional staff assistant and Political Campaign consultant, often planning & executing events.

After years of helping friends and family create wedding day bouquets, choose paint colors for living room walls and plan birthday parties and bridal showers, Deven decided to turn her knack for design, eye for color and attention to detail into a career. She believes that beauty begets happiness, and beauty can be found in the smallest details of our everyday lives.

Deven continues her commitment to social justice by volunteering on political campaigns and working on neighborhood development issues.
